*MAKE SOMETHING: Wooden Step Stool*
Build the skills necessary to "do" reuse, reduce waste, and make a great
holiday gift that could become a family heirloom.

*Date*: Wednesday December 16 from 1:00 p.m. until about 5:00 p.m.

*Description*: In this class, participants build a step stool from
reclaimed wood using a custom Home ReSource design.

*Cost*: $15 – $75 sliding scale (Actual cost will be determined based on
household size and income); $10 for WEX and Experience Works participants.

*Class details:* Home ReSource’s MAKE SOMETHING series of classes can teach
you how to make things from reclaimed materials. Build the skills necessary
to “do” reuse and reduce waste. In every introductory-level class you will:

   - Make a functional item from reclaimed wood
   - Learn about shop safety
   - Learn to identify shop hand tools
   - Learn to operate tools including miter saw, drill, and sander
   - Learn tape measure mathematics
   - Learn to prepare and use reclaimed materials
