Following up his feature, Crude Independence (SXSW), Noah Hutton paints an ethereal portrait of the North Dakota oil boom in Deep Time. Ancient oceans teeming with life, Norwegian settlers, Native Americans and multinational oil corporations find intimacy in deep time. The film premiered at the 2015 SXSW Film Festival and won a Jury Award for Best Feature at the 2015 Environmental Film Festival at Yale.
