*SPONTANEOUS CONSTRUCTION ‘15*
*Annual Festival of Creative Reinvention and Building Contest*

Celebrate over ten years of creative reinvention with Home ReSource at the
annual Spontaneous Construction building contest. Contestants will have
seven hours to transform everyday things into one-of-a-kind creations at
Missoula’s unique celebration of community, art and creative waste
reduction. Contestants and spectators alike can participate in free
family-friendly activities, listen to live music, and enjoy local food
while supporting Missoula’s growing culture of reuse. Come to compete or to
connect with family, friends, and neighbors.

The contest begins at 9 a.m., kid’s activities begin at 11, and music plays
all day long from DJ Mermaid, Chris Sand, Gil & the Spills, and Local
Yokel. This year our Family Fun Hour features some of Missoula’s talented
young cellists and fiddlers and you(!) if you choose to join our
Family-Friendly Found Sound Explosion – bring your favorite found sound
instrument!

Food will be available throughout the day from Burns St. Bistro’s Beastro
Truck, Masala Food Cart, Wild Weenies, and Captain Hooks Ice Cream. Bring
your reusable plate, fork, and cups and help us make this a Zero Waste
event!
