*MUD Earth Friendly Floral Design Workshop*
August 31 7-8:30pm at the Garden City Harvest River Road Farm
Lead by Melissa Lafontaine, owner of Earth Within Floral Design.

In this hands-on workshop you will…

   - learn about how to choose basic color and texture combinations for
   floral design
   - explore how to create shape and volume using various flower sizes and
   textures
   - tour a local flower farm and discuss what flowers grow well in our
   climate!
   - get acquainted with the local, slow flower movement

Earth Within’s mission is to offer the local community a socially
sustainable and earth-friendly alternative to flower sourcing through
artful arrangements and education.
