Caregiving for Veterans with Kristen Perry

Free for caregivers, spouses, or partners of veterans

 

Caring for a veteran can be a confusing experience.  Caregivers often want
to be there for their veteran but may not always know how, which can lead to
frustration and feelings of loneliness and isolation.  This workshop will
provide a bridge to connect caregivers of veterans to one another and
provide education and tools to help the individual caregivers feel more
empowered in caring for their vet.  Participants will learn about
post-traumatic stress (PTS) and how this trauma impacts their day-to-day
living as well as the value of caring for themselves (and the tools to
accomplish that).
