If you’re free on Wednesday, please join us to watch this fantastic film and find out ways to get involved in climate change action here in Missoula.

What: "How to Let Go of the World and Love All The Things Climate Can't Change”

When: Wednesday, November 30, 5 p.m. Movie starts promptly at 5:30 p.m.

Where: Imagine Nation Brewing, 1151 W. Broadway

Why?: To take action for climate change in our community and fundraise for the Sacred Stone Legal Defense Fund, which supports the legal defense of warriors protecting land, water, and human rights.

Created by Oscar-nominated director Josh Fox (GASLAND), “How to Let Go of the World” takes us on a journey across 12 countries on six continents to ask, “What are the things that climate change can’t destroy? What is so deep within us that no calamity can take it away?” This documentary will uplift and inspire you to be a positive force for change.

After the film, local nonprofits including Climate Smart Missoula, 350 Missoula, Reinvest Montana, and the Jeannette Rankin Peace Center will highlight ways to take action on climate and social justice issues in our own community. The movie is about two hours long, so feel free to bring food. Event is FREE and open to the public. Donations to the Sacred Stone Legal Defense Fund will be accepted via cash or credit card.
