Jacob Wustner, owner of Sapphire Apiaries, leads this two-day workshop on
rocket mass heater construction. Rocket mass heaters use an insulated
combustion chamber where fuel is burned with high efficiency at extremely
high temperatures, and a large thermal mass in contact with the exhaust
gases which absorbs most of the generated heat before the gases are
released to the atmosphere. Learn how these efficient heaters work and then
construct a rocket stove. Many thanks to the American Lung Association for
