*SPEAK UP FOR MONTANA’S WILDLANDS AND WILDLIFE!*

Greetings from the Flathead-Lolo-Bitterroot Citizen's Task Force:*

You are invited to join fellow wildlands and wildlife advocates at
*Imagine Nation Brewing* for pizza and beer and the opportunity to speak
up for Montana’s wildlands and wildlife.*The outreach meeting will be
held at Imagine Nation Brewing (1151 W. Broadway) from 6 to 8 p.m. on
Tuesday, March 14 *and is open to the public.

We’ll be sharing information and mobilizing in defense of the *Monture
and Swan Front inventoried roadless areas*, two wild gems located in
occupied grizzly habitat that are threatened by Senator Tester's
proposed legislation, S. 507 (announced last week in an article in the
/Missoulian/).

We’ll also mobilize against the Montana Legislature’s resolutions urging
Congress to release all of Montana’s congressionally designated
*Wilderness Study Areas* from protection (HJ No. 9), and to strip
Endangered Species Act protections from *grizzly bears* (HJ No. 15).

We’ll have letter-writing materials on hand, but if you can bring your
laptop or other electronic devices it will help speed the process along.

The threats to our public lands have rarely been more acute. This event
is a great way to weigh in with elected officials and let them know that
you care about our wildlands and want them protected.

Feel free to invite friends and work cohorts as we need to build our
organizing capacity in the face of such significant threats to national
forest management and policy.

/*The Flathead-Lolo-Bitterroot Citizen Task Force is an alliance of
local, regional, and national conservation organizations cooperating to
protect the wildlands and wildlife of western Montana.Come and learn
more about the Task Force and how you can help./
