Join the Sierra Club and two University of Montana students for a presentation and community conversation about the Colstrip Power Plant as some of the plant's six co-owners prepare for its retirement. Colstrip is the largest carbon polluter in the American West.

We will be discussing the plant’s current status and prospects for transition of the Colstrip workers and the community of Colstrip.  We will also explore opportunities for replacing its power with renewable energy and energy efficiency.
All are welcome to attend this informative event, and we look forward to sharing with you!

My name is Madeline Damon, and I would love to invite you to an event I am co-directing with fellow University of Montana student, Alisha Falk. We are working with David Merrill and the Sierra Club to host an informative event on the Colstrip Power Plant and its effects on climate change. We would like to encourage an open conversation on how we can work towards the retirement of the Colstrip Power Plant without shutting down an entire community. The event will be held at 7pm
on Tuesday April 24th,
