[MCN] No Grazing at U.S. Sheep Experiment Station this summer

I hope this finds you staying dry—its been rainy over here in Boz Ang.

I wanted to let you know that the Department of Justice recently indicated that the Federal government would not be grazing domestic sheep at the U.S. Sheep Experiment Station this summer after we filed an appeal in the Ninth Circuit.

The BLM, Forest Service, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service have asked that sheep not be grazed across the 16,000 acres of Sheep Station land in the Centennial Mountains. The MT FWP, Idaho Dept of Fish and Game, and Wyoming Game and Fish asked the Sheep Station not to graze in the area. Native American tribes have asked the Sheep Station not to graze. Commissioners for MT FWP asked that the sheep not be grazed and sought to open the area to public recreation.  The Trump and Obama Administrations both tried to permanently end the grazing, close the facility in Idaho, and save millions of tax payer dollars.  Montana’s own U.S. Senator Steve Daines attached Appropriations Riders that kept the research facility open, kept the 16,000 acres of federal land closed to the public, and kept spending/wasting millions of tax payer dollars every year.
