*Sponsor MUD’s 12th Annual Earth Day Festival:*

*Join Forces for this Community-Wide Earth Day Celebration*

Missoula, MT— Missoula Urban Demonstration Project is hosting a free
community-wide Earth Day Celebration on April 22 from 12-4pm at the MUD
Project site on Wyoming Street, and adjacent properties, including Home
Resource.

The 12th annual Earth Day Celebration will highlight our
community-wide efforts toward sustainability and feature education on
Ending Plastic Pollution: Missoula & Zero Waste. The festivities include an
environmental exposition, activities, and workshops for children and
adults, performances, educational panels, and presentations, as well as
food trucks, beer, and local music. Jen Bernosky, MUD board member and
Account Manager at Republic Services, says, “[The event] provides community
members access to valuable information about resource sharing, recycling,
reuse, and other ways to live more sustainable lives. It’s also a great
chance to chat with individuals and businesses that are leading local
efforts to reduce waste.” MUD will be partnering with a diverse group of
organizations to share its vision with the Missoula community that
education, demonstration, and celebration of urban sustainable living will
create equitable communities and healthy ecosystems.

MUD invites all organizations and businesses to participate in
the Earth Day Festival as a sponsor. By sponsoring the 2018 Earth Day
Celebration, you have the opportunity to show support for a healthy
environment and garner positive publicity for your company or organization. All
sponsorship levels include the opportunity to table at the event. If you
chose to have an expo table, interactive displays with demonstrations and
activities are encouraged and merchandise sales are welcome. In-kind
sponsorship opportunities are also encouraged, particularly in the form of
additional event programming. Please share your ideas with us on the
sponsorship form. To ensure that MUD has all promotional materials ready in
time, complete the online sponsorship form at
http://mudproject.org/earthdayregistration2018/ and send MUD your logo
electronically by April 1.

MUD is promoting Sustainability Month events across our
community for all of April. In conjunction with the National Earth Day
theme of Ending Plastic Pollution, we'll be partnering up with a variety of
organizations to get people out and activated about community-based
sustainability efforts that will culminate in our on-site festival. E-mail
info at mudproject.org to submit an event to the Sustainability Calendar for
April.

We hope you will consider sponsoring the MUD Earth Day
Celebration. All the funds from this event will directly support MUD
Project, a non-profit that promotes urban sustainable living. The
organization provides the community with a tool library, a truck share, a
demonstration site, youth education programs, and workshops. Learn more
about MUD and upcoming events at mudproject.org.
