RECIPIENTS OF WESTERN MONTANA PHILANTHROPY DAY AWARDS ANNOUNCED

Each year, the Western Montana Fundraisers Association (WMFRA) solicits nominations for their annual Philanthropy Day Awards. This annual event celebrates those who nurture and strengthen the Western Montana community through their generous financial resources, time, and leadership.

It is with great pleasure that WMFRA announces the recipients of 2018 Philanthropy Day awards:

*         Outstanding Young Philanthropist - Larissa Fluck
*         Outstanding Service Club - Sigma Phi Epsilon Montana Alpha Chapter
*         Outstanding Corporation - Missoula Federal Credit Union
*         Outstanding Foundation - Hospice Care Foundation
*         Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser - John Brauer
*         Outstanding Fundraising Executive - Rita Pastore
*         Special Recognition Award - Dorothea Lambros
*         Outstanding Philanthropist - Mary Stranahan

The Philanthropy Day Awards Ceremony will be held on June 1, 2018 from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm at the Missoula Doubletree Edgewater Hotel. The event will begin with words from Keynote Speaker, Mike Halligan, of the Dennis & Phyllis Washington Foundation. Tickets cost $18, includes lunch, and are available for purchase at http://wmfra.org/programs/. Tables of 8 are also available for purchase.

WMFRA will begin accepting nominations for the 2019 honorees beginning in January 2019.
