[MCN] Volunteer for Sunday Streets/Unplug & Play event on June 9th!

Let's Move Missoula and Missoula In Motion need your help in the upcoming Unplug & Play Summer Kick-Off on Sunday, June 9th from 1-4pm<http://www.5210missoula.com/>.

Neighbors, kids, and families can enjoy over 30 FREE activities at Franklin Park and McLeod Park. The 2 parks will be connected by a Sunday Streets Missoula<https://www.missoulainmotion.com/sunday-streets> route meaning Grant St. will be closed to car traffic and open to people! And this is where you come in! Volunteers will be stationed along the perimeter of the route / activity area and are responsible for:


*         Ensuring the safety of attendees by helping vehicles navigate the street closure

*         Providing general information about the event to attendees

*         Ensuring that activities and participants remain within the events area and don't extend onto streets open to traffic

Volunteers are crucial to the success and safety of this event and will receive training before their shift, as well a tee shirt for their time. It is a quick 2 hour volunteer shift. Please consider signing up and also share this with any appropriate and applicable networks or co-workers.
