*Job Summary: *Ecology Project International seeks a Grants Manager who
will oversee EPI’s robust grant writing department. Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to, the implementation and oversight of
financial targets, connecting organization wide strategies, supporting all
EPI programming and the development department goals as it relates to grant
funding, coordination of grant proposals and reports, writing and
submitting grant applications, managing grant writing staff, developing
systems, and prospecting and vetting foundations. The Grants Manager works
collaboratively with numerous other EPI staff to help create an overall
efficient development department.



*Reporting:* The Grants Manager reports directly to the Development Director



*Qualifications: *

*Required:*

·         Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

   - Five or more years of relevant work experience and grant writing, with
   demonstrated success securing grants from written proposals
   - Strong ability to assemble, write, and submit grants and reports
   according to requirements and deadlines
   - Logical and data focused approach to goal setting and management, with
   an emphasis on detailed financial analysis

·         Five or more years managing and supervising a dynamic team

·         Ability to balance expectations with positive morale while
building a team

   - Ability to motivate and inspire others by commitment to mission and
   enthusiasm for raising funds

·         Proven organizational skills, attention-to-detail, and strong
project management

·         High energy, confident, and a team player with professional and
positive demeanor

·         Ability to juggle multiple projects and competing priorities

   - Ability to work independently and be highly self-directed

·         Passionate about education, science, wild-life conservation, and
place-based learning

·         Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft, Outlook, Word, Excel,
and PowerPoint



*Preferred: *

·         Spanish written and oral skills

·         Skype, Zoom, Box, and CRM database experience (EPI uses
Salesforce)

·         International fundraising, grant writing, or work experience



*Schedule and Location: *The Grants Manager will preferably work full time
in our Missoula office although we are open to remote work especially if
the candidate has strong Spanish language skills.



*Compensation: *.75 to 1.0 FTE salaried position DOE. In addition, this
position is eligible for a benefits package that includes accrued vacation
and sick leave, paid holidays, and health insurance and retirement
contributions.
