Historical Museum at Fort Missoula Extends Main Museum Closure as they move into Winter Hours.
Now Offering Small Group Tours, Historic Apple Pressing, & MONTANA VOTES! Virtual Lecture Series.

Hello Friends,
The Historical Museum at Fort Missoula has several updates for you all. Like you, other nonprofits, and businesses throughout our country and world, we are finding a path forward in this new territory of COVID. We thank you all for your support as we continue the important work of preserving and sharing our history and caretaking the artifacts that are part of Missoula and Western Montana's heritage.
Announcements and Updates!
Beginning September 7th, the Museum will change to Winter Hours
Main Museum Building closed. Historic park open 24/7 and outside exhibits open:

  *   Tuesday -Sunday: 12pm-4pm
  *   Closed Monday
Small Group Tours of Inside Exhibits & the Historic Grounds
Have you been missing your museums? We've been missing you! Sign up for a guided tour of the museum, or grounds, free!

Old Fashioned Apple Pressing and Cider Tasting
Join us for old fashioned apple pressing tours! Taste fresh cider & learn the history of apples in our 5 valleys. Free, but help with the cost of running the press, by bringing apples, or donating at least $10.
