[MCN] Climate Week 2020: Virtual International Climate Workshops, Forums, & Classes Sept 21-27 (Interpretation Available in Several Languages)

There’s an exciting week of virtual, international events this week,
through Sustaining All Life (SAL) and United to End Racism (UER). SAL and
UER are international grassroots organizations committed to environmental
justice and climate justice. Their mission is working to end the climate
emergency within the context of ending all divisions among people.

they’re hosting that address barriers to resolving the climate emergency,
led primarily by BIPOC activists around the globe.

Topics include: Ending Racism and Classism in the Climate Movement,
Expressing Climate Grief, War and Climate Change, Youth at the Forefront of
the Climate Movement, a Pacific Island forum, and an Indigenous Voices
forum.

8:00-10:00: Jews and Climate Justice: Building a United Front

11:00-12:30: Expressing Climate Grief

2:00-3:30: Sustaining Ourselves as Activists and Organizers

For several years, SAL & UER have held in-person workshops, classes, and
forums aimed at addressing barriers to resolving the climate emergency
during the international climate negotiations (COP events). This year's
offerings are virtual and open to people around the world. All workshops
are translated into several different languages and are followed by
optional support groups.
