writing course drawing upon wilderness-based rites of passage work,
self-inquiry practices, and Stephen Buhner's amazing book on writing, Ensouling
Language

This will be a slow build for six months toward discipline and regularity
in an earth-based writing practice, meeting formally twice a month, with an
optional community meeting and then a week off each month. There will be an
emphasis on community and accountability, writing together and engaging in
group writing workshops. By the end of the course, you will have a
significantly deepened relationship to the land and histories where you
live, a wider sense of your personal mythos and what most deeply matters to
you, and an improved capacity for clear, honest, potent writing.
