*WHERE: Beartracks (Higgins Street) Bridge*

*WHY:* During UTILITY JUSTICE WEEK, Montana citizens are joining with
fed-up citizens across the country to protest private utilities raking in
obscene profits by expanding fossil fuel energy that is unreliable,
expensive, and *burning up the planet*. They need to either move to
cheaper, cleaner renewable energy, or get out of the way and let the people
take over the generation and distribution of energy.

NorthWestern just raised rates 28 percent for its 400,000 Montana prisoners
... er ... ratepayers. A monopoly, the company doesn't want us to suffer
from "sticker shock," so it plans to raise its rates more frequently, with
huge increases coming this fall and yet again next spring. You know why?
Because they are doubling down on more expensive fossil fuels
