happenings for many years!

I recently co-founded the solar division of a local electrical company,
Star Electric. I would love to post a job opening on the forum if possible.

Job Description – Residential Solar Canvasser

About the Job

Are you looking to earn a living wage advocating for renewable energy in
Montana? This is an exciting opportunity to learn the ins-and-outs of the
industry while actively promoting solar adoption. We are looking for
motivated, hard-working individuals to join our team of canvassers.

About Us

Star Electric is a local company that has served western Montana for over
20 years. We provide a full suite of electrical contracting services and
are rapidly expanding our solar division. Star Electric was built on a
foundation of honesty and quality craftsmanship and takes pride in
delivering reliable, efficient, and cost-effective solar installations and
consultative services.

Qualifications

We're looking for canvassers who:


   -

   Are deeply committed to sustainability
   -

   Demonstrate self-motivation and problem-solving skills
   -

   Can follow detailed instructions and actively seek feedback from
   supervisors
   -

   Possess the ability to communicate important information to the public
   -

   Have a strong attention to detail
   -

   Have clear communication abilities, both verbally and in writing, within
   the canvassing team and with the public
   -

   Can work up to 40 hours per week, particularly in the evenings from 3-7pm
   -

   Have access to reliable transportation and a smartphone or tablet for
   use during canvassing
   -

   Can travel within the Missoula area
   -

   Are willing to commit to at least three shifts weekly, totaling a
   minimum of 12 hours
   -

   Ideally, can work 6-hour shifts on Saturdays, though this is not
   mandatory
   -

   Will spend the vast majority of their workday outside and be on their
   feet walking

Responsibilities

   -

   Generating interest in solar through door-to-door canvassing, tabling,
   and other outreach
   -

   Learning and communicating environmental impacts, relevant policies and
   technical details about residential solar
   -

   Scheduling appointments for homeowners to meet with expert solar
   consultants
   -

   Tracking outreach efforts and developing new outreach strategies
