Hi folks,
I'm new to the Missoula community (although I have always really wanted to
live here!) after moving here from Bozeman. I have unfortunately found
myself in a less than ideal rental situation and am looking to try and find
someone in the community who can help me and my two ESA cats find a new
place to live.
About myself, I am 31 years old and I work in public health for a small
Missoula/Bozeman based organization. I have lived in the same apartment in
Bozeman for 6 years and became close with other tenants and even the
building owner! When I'm home, I generally like to be working on film
editing, writing, or watching movies, otherwise I like exploring different
places to eat and walk or seeing movies at the Roxy. My work is hybrid, but
I prefer to work in my office which is located downtown. I have a history
of work in activism and advocacy in the racial justice and conservation
space and moved to Missoula because I felt like I could get more involved
in the community here. I have two house trained ESA certified cats who help
me with PTSD and are very friendly (Kalisi and Mandu, who is arguably a
dog).
Ideally, I would love to be in a standalone in-law house or an apartment
above a home. If it is downtown or around the downtown area, that is a huge
plus for me as I like to walk to work if possible. If there is outdoor
space like a patio my cats would greatly appreciate that, but if there is
adequate light that is definitely not a dealbreaker. My rent max would be
around 1600 a month. I am looking for long-term renting and am a very
relaxed tenant. If you have a pet, I would be happy to help out and watch
your pet(s) if you are out of town!
If you or someone you know may be a good fit, I would absolutely love to
talk. I would probably not be able to move for at least 30 days since I
would need to give the property managers notice, but if we can work
something out I would be more than happy to negotiate. Please feel free to
email me at frances.kim2020 at gmail.com or call/text me at 406-624-9607.
Thank you so much again! I look forward to hearing back from folks.
