[MCN] TODAY - Blue Mountain Field Tour, 2-5pm

On Tuesday, July 29 from 2-5pm the Lolo Restoration Committee invites Missoulians to join us at Blue Mountain for a learning tour of the Wildfire Adapted Missoula Blue Mountain Project. The tour is free to attend and will answer the question "what is the blue paint on the trees at Blue Mountain all about?". Topics covered will include fuels reduction, prescribed fire, and recreation values.

The tour will start at 2pm at the winter/snow gate parking lot on Blue Mountain Road. Carpooling is recommended, and attendees should come prepared to walk on the area's singletrack trails and be outside for the duration of the tour.

It's going to be a hot afternoon. Please bring water.
