New Location! Out of an abundance of caution and to have as strong and safe an event as possible, we are shifting the venue to the amphitheater at the base of the M Trail on the UM Campus.

🔥 We Will Not Cave 🔥

Authoritarians are counting on our silence. On our fear. On our surrender. But we’re here to say: we will not cave — and neither should the institutions that claim to serve us.

This rally is about putting our values into action. It’s a call for students, faculty, workers, and neighbors to rise up and to demand that our community institutions stop propping up a regime that’s attacking our futures.

🎙️ Speakers will sound the alarm on the threats we face — from the erasure of DEI and the gutting of financial aid, to climate collapse and the assault on Palestinians.

🎶 We’ll rally with music at the The amphitheater at the base of the M Trail on the UM campus, then march across campus in full view.

🤝 We’ll close with community tabling and a band back at the amphitheater, because this isn’t just a protest — it’s a launchpad.

This moment demands more than outrage. It demands action. Show up. Speak out. And together, let’s make it impossible for institutions to hide behind neutrality.

Be there. Bring friends. Let’s move from complicity to resistance — and from resistance to power.

Please note: A core principle behind all our events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
