Hello!

String and Shadow had a most wonderful performance last night. This
evening is night two. I highly recommend this 85 min play.

The story is so fun with elaborate and fantastical constumes, and weaves
in themes of concentrated wealth, class priviledge, loss of public space
(in this case, an Italian opera house in 1890), and people saying
'Enough,
let's organize!'.

And the whole thing is so darn cute and family friendly, with laughs and
spurts of uplifting joy,

All are welcome, at 7pm (well, come a little early to settle in),

thanks!

All are welcome for:

String and Shadow Giant Puppet Theater, @ Free Cycles,
July 12th and 13th! 7pm to 8:30pm

ABOUT THE SHOW:
Night at the Grand Opera: A Giant Puppet Show
Come enjoy an evening of outdoor theater and giant, spectacle puppetry
at Free Cycles! String and Shadow Puppet Theater's "Night at the Grand
Opera" is a frenzied romp through a candlelit night at the Opera. Rococo
extravagance is fashioned with elaborate cardboard sets that transform
and unfold to reveal the many great dramas of the opera house (not all
of which happen on stage.) Love triangles, converging revolutionary
plots, art-loving flies and stilt-walking vermin are brought to life
with cardboard and paper-mache. Fun for the whole family! Donations at
the door,

This will be the 3rd visit by the troupe to Free Cycles... not to be
missed! Spread the word! and thank you,

Sincerely, the team at Free Cycles Missoula
