<p class=""><span class="">Sussex School, an independent K-8th Grade school in Missoula, seeks a part-time counselor for 5</span><span class="">^th</span><span class="">-8</span><span class="">^th</span><span class=""> grade students for the 2015-16 school year. The position is 10 hours/week.</span></p>
<p class=""><span class=""><b><u>Job Summary</u></b></span></p>
<p class=""></p><ul><li><span class="">Work with 5</span><span class="">^th</span><span class="">-8</span><span class="">^th</span><span class=""> grade students and staff to build social and emotional literacy.</span><br></li><li>Communicate with staff regarding student development and progress by identifying current needs and actions to be taken.<br></li><li>Work closely with K-8 staff on how to increase the emotional literacy and interpersonal communication skills of all Sussex students.<br></li><li>Work with individual students and small groups to better student communication skills among friends.<br></li><li>Work to create a climate that promotes health and well-being for all students.<br></li><li><span class="">Compile and gather resources for 5</span><span class="">^th</span><span class="">-8</span><span class="">^th</span><span class=""> grade staff to use in the classroom.</span></li></ul><p></p>
