<div dir="ltr">Charmaine Slaven, dance caller & musician visiting from Seattle, 

will be teaching a workshop on traditional square dance calling for 

beginning callers on Sunday, Feb 28th from 3 to 5 pm.

 There is still space available and it is not too late to register! Details below--<br><br>Workshop description: The workshop will focus on traditional southern Appalachian squares and

 include instruction on how to teach dances, how to work with a band, 

and how to call a dance that is inclusive and fun for all involved. This

 is a beginners workshop, so no previous calling experience required, 

however some experience with square or contra dancing is helpful.  

Stringband musicians will provide live music, and the students will get
