Mountain Line is looking for citizen input on its future priorities as it continues with the latest update to its Strategic Plan. The agency has been hosting a series of open houses in different neighborhoods where citizens can view future alternatives for
Missoula’s bus system and offer feedback. The final two open houses will be this week from 5:30pm - 7pm, Wed. Nov. 15 at the University Villages Community Room, and from 5:30pm-7pm, Thurs., Nov. 16 at the Missoula County Fairgrounds Art Building.<o:p></o:p></p>

Mountain Line’s Strategic Plan is <span style="color: rgb(33, 33, 33); background-image: initial; background-">
a guiding document which describes how the agency will direct service over the next 30 years. This kind of planning takes place every 5 to 7 years. The Strategic Plan seeks to balance the needs and desires of the community with the fixed amount of resources
available to provide effective service that benefits Missoula as a whole. Understanding the difficult tradeoffs involved is a key element to making informed choices on how transit should grow in Missoula<o:p></o:p></span></p>

Each open house includes a brief presentation and question and answer session with Mountain Line staff and transit design experts. There will be a presentation each night beginning at approximately 6:15pm. Attendees may drop in at any time during the events.
