The Missoula Community Foundation is hosting two free seminars on how to leave a legacy for family, friends, and the community—even if your bank account doesn’t look like Rockefeller’s.</span></p>

Goetting, a professor and extension family economics specialist at Montana State University, will teach participants how to jump-start legacy preparations to ensure that their generosity continues in perpetuity. Each seminar is free, open to the public and will feature food and beverages.</span></p>

Most people don’t know that the wording on those accounts, titles, or deeds could determine who receives the assets they’ve worked so hard to acquire. Or that they can receive up to $10,000 in tax credits for contributing to a Montana endowment. Dr. Marsha Goetting will share information on how average Montanans can make an exceptional impact with their legacy.</span></p>
