Thompson, a Community Health Masters candidate will present <i>The Beauty in Pain: Storytelling and the Experience of Chronic Pain</i>. Spurzem, a Social Work Masters candidate will present: <i>Assessing Montana’s Youth for Suicide Prevention Strategies</i>. Caughie, a Doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology, emphasis Neuropsychology, will present: <i>Brain Vignettes: A Window in to the Experience of Neuropsychological Impairment. </i>As a Community Health expert Amy Thompson says, “Chronic pain is a huge problem in our country, with an estimated 100 million people suffering from chronic pain every year. We have a corresponding opioid epidemic and our systems haven't seemed to grasp or understand chronic pain or how to heal it or shift it.
