This Endowment grants awards for projects that explore Montana?s land and people through historical research, wilderness studies, and creative writing. We hope, as Matthew did that these projects will encourage mindful stewardship of the land and contribute to Montana?s cultural heritage.<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">Submission Guidelines:<br></div><div dir="ltr">The committee recommends projects that:<br></div><div dir="ltr">? Can be completed in 1 year<br></div><div dir="ltr">? Focus on historical research, creative writing, wilderness studies or any combination<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">To Apply:<br></div><div dir="ltr">? A 1-2 page proposal describing the project, how your idea originated, what you hope to accomplish, how the project is related to Montana?s heritage and whom will benefit.<br></div><div dir="ltr">? A detailed budget and timeline with a personal resume and your qualifications<br></div><div dir="ltr">? A cover page with name, contact info, project title and total budget amount requested<br></div><div dir="ltr">? Seven copies of your proposal and, if available seven copies of a pervious work.<br></div><div dir="ltr">Funding for projects is competitive. Individual proposals will take precedence over institutions.
