<div dir="ltr">Montana Wilderness Association invites you to join their Shining Mountains Chapter for a showing of the film <span style="color:rgb(32,33,36);font-family:Roboto,Arial,sans-serif;font-size:14px;letter-spacing:0.2px;white-space:pre-wrap">“In the Spirit of ʔAtatíc̓eʔ: the Untold Story of the National Bison Range.”  </span>

<span style="color:rgb(32,33,36);font-family:Roboto,Arial,sans-serif;font-size:14px;letter-spacing:0.2px;white-space:pre-wrap">The film recounts how the unthinkable came to pass in the nineteenth century as buffalo, slaughtered to the edge of extinction, began to fade from the landscape until a Ql̓ispé (Pend d’Oreille) man named ʔAtatíc̓eʔ and his son Ɫatatí helped the bison survive by bringing buffalo calves over the Continental Divide and starting a herd on the Flathead Indian Reservation.  In the face of devastation, these men did what they could and made a world of difference for everyone.</span><div><span style="color:rgb(32,33,36);font-family:Roboto,Arial,sans-serif;font-size:14px;letter-spacing:0.2px;white-space:pre-wrap"><br></span></div><div><span style="color:rgb(32,33,36);font-family:Roboto,Arial,sans-serif;font-size:14px;letter-spacing:0.2px;white-space:pre-wrap">Following the film, </span><span style="color:rgb(32,33,36);font-family:Roboto,Arial,sans-serif;font-size:14px;letter-spacing:0.2px;white-space:pre-wrap">Brian Upton and Shane Morigeau, members of the CSKT, will be hosting a Q&A discussion. Brian Upton is a Tribal Attorney with the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes’ Legal Department, where he has worked since 2003.  </span><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;font-size:11pt">Shane Morigeau is a citizen of the Confederated
Salish and Kootenai Tribes, where he works as a Tribal Attorney for the CSKT
Legal Department.</span><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;font-size:11pt">   </span><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;font-size:11pt">Shane is also a
