Dear Friends,
We want to thank each and every one of you who submitted comments to the
U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service in support of Endangered Species Act
protection for the Yellowstone buffalo, the country's last continuously
wild, migratory herds. Your voice matters so much. Now we wait and see
what the US Fish & Wildlife Service does with the mounting evidence that
these buffalo are in dire need of such protections.
As a testament to the need for ESA listing, we share with you our full
report from the June 7th Interagency Bison Management Plan (IBMP) meeting,
including our public comments as well as comments from a couple of our
passionate and powerful friends.

While we shared it before, and it's linked to in the above report, we don't
want anyone to miss the new film from Yellowstone Voices, Yellowstone
Voices: A Path Through for the American Bison,
<https://vimeo.com/832970937/a8c3e3a237> which highlights the tragedy of
the 'hunts' at Beattie Gulch in Montana's Gardiner Basin. We encourage you
to share this as far and wide as you can, among friends, on social media,
and any other circles you can think of.
The co-authored op-ed by Jaedin Medicine Elk and myself, Yellowstone Bison
Kill: Who Pulls the Trigger and Why

which we shared with you in our last email, was picked up by the Missoulian
and the Billings Gazette, which are two of the biggest papers in the state
of Montana. It is a condensed version, but still tells it like it is.
As always, thank you for being with us for wild buffalo and wild nature.
You enable us to be where we need to be to best represent the buffalo, and
we can't thank you enough.
