Dear Friends,
Yellowstone released their Final Environmental Impact Statement on Friday.
Unfortunately, they did not choose our preferred alternative, Alternative 3.
Here's a link to our recent press release about it:
Wild Bison Advocates Disappointed in Yellowstone's Bison Plan Decision

The Prefered Alternative Places Emphasis on Domestication and Excessive
Hunting

RFN would also like to give a big shout out to Professor Maximilian Werner
and the students in his environmental writing class at the University of
Utah. They invited yours truly to a zoom talk yesterday. The students asked
really great questions, Professor Werner *really* gets it, and I had a
great time talking about the buffalo issue with them. You may recall
Professor Werner's article from last winter, "Sacred Cows, slaughter, and
silence: The tragedy on Yellowstone's northern border"
It's a must-read!
I also did an interview with Derrick Jensen yesterday, which will be out in
about five weeks. Watch this space!
Thanks to each and every one of you for your support
