Ecology Project International seeks a Recruitment Coordinator who will work
with the Recruitment Manager to implement EPI’s marketing, recruitment, and
sales strategies.  Responsibilities involve recruiting students from the US
and abroad via direct sales, mailing campaigns, trade shows and
conferences; communications and public relations; additional
marketing-related work; and support of participant enrollment.

*Qualifications*

*Required*:

   - Bachelor’s degree
   - 1-3 Years of direct sales experience
   - Extremely detail oriented with a high degree of organization and
   persistence
   - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
   - Proficiency with Microsoft office standard applications, including
   Access, Excel, Word.
   - Ability to work independently including the ability to simultaneously
   manage discreet projects and on-going accounts
   - Maintain good humor and apply professional, common-sense solutions to
   everyday challenges
   - Willingness to embrace the mission and goals of EPI

*Preferred*:

   - Master’s degree in sales, marketing or communication
   - Experience living and working in Latin America, especially Mexico,
   Belize, Costa Rica and/or Ecuador
   - Experience using web-based sales and marketing databases like
   Salesforce.com
   - Experience working in education or travel industry
   - The ideal candidate will be confident, out-going, well-spoken,
   creative, and persistent


EPI is an international non-profit organization dedicated to addressing
critical conservation issues through field-based partnerships between local
experts and high school students. We engage adolescent youth from local
communities and visiting youth from other regions in applied hands-on
science and conservation as they learn about and help protect threatened
species and habitats.
