[MCN] Bring your ballots & stories to the brewery tonight...

Hello MCN community!

Bring your ballot and join us at Imagine Nation Brewing Co. for The Art of the Vote <https://www.facebook.com/events/391023941242974/?active_tab=about>, a First Friday event joining art and voting together! 

Voting art will be displayed and voting-related storytelling will offer glimpses from Kim Maynard’s experiences as an election monitor at South Sudan’s first ever elections, followed by an open mic for voting-related storytelling.

The Missoula County Elections Office will be there to take your ballot at this non-partisan event.

Tables will be staffed by pairs of candidates and informed people with opposing views who can answer questions and discuss issues respectfully. All agree in advance to “disagree without becoming disagreeable.”

From 6-7:30pm, chat with candidates for Public Service Commission, County Commissioner, and Justice of the Peace. The contentious Montana Supreme Court race will be discussed by a highly-informed mutually-agreed upon third person.

From 5-8pm, chat with both sides about medical marijuana and crime victim rights. You will also be able to see your ballot online and get information about other races so that you can vote the full ballot.

The Ninja Mike's <https://www.facebook.com/ninjamikes/> food truck will delight your palate with fresh local eats starting at 4:30pm, along with new seasonal brews from Imagine Nation Brewing <https://www.facebook.com/ImagineNationBrewing/>.
