JOB OPENING:  do you love animals and people and wish to work in the
stunningly beautiful Mission Valley!?

 

The Mission Valley Animal Shelter south of Polson (one hour north from
Missoula) is looking for an Office Assistant!!!

 

Job Title: Office Assistant (part time, permanent)

 

Hours: 20 hours per week (somewhat flexible)

 

Wage: $9.25 starting salary

 

Objective: to support the administrative needs of our nonprofit animal
shelter through varied office duties

 

Duties include:

                

                * Adoption application reference checks

                * Adoption follow-up calls

                * Greet potential and new volunteers.  Tour shelter and
offer information on tasks, policies, etc.

                * Assist with bank deposits

                * collect and enter monthly stats

                * Assist with newsletter

                * Assist with general correspondence

                * Post adoptable/adopted pets on three websites

                * General office/front desk duties as needed, including
filing, copying, phone reception, greeting guests, issuing certificates,
etc.
