[MCN] Mark Your Calendar for Farm Fresh Pitchfest on January 26

Farm Fresh Pitchfest <http://missoulacfac.org/pitchfest-2017.html> is an
event to connect local farmers with community members through crowdfunding
campaigns that are based on loans, not donations and perks. Three farmers,
County Rail Farm, Fresh Roots Farm, and Ploughshare Farm, will pitch their
loan opportunities and individuals can lend anywhere from $25 to $10,000 to
the farmer of their choice. It’s the first event of its kind in the nation
and we’re really excited to launch it here in Missoula. By lending as
little as $25, you can directly support a farmer bringing local food to our
community!


Pitchfest is free to attend. Bravo Catering has donated light appetizers
for the event and Montgomery Distillery has donated the space. The first 25
individuals to make a loan will receive a free drink token. For more
