[MCN] This Afternoon: 350 Montana Party at Harmony Stables

350 Montana is sponsoring a party today to support Leonard Higgins, who
turned off a tar sands oil pipeline at Coal Banks Landing, Montana, last
October 11, one of five simultaneous acts of nonviolent disobedience
shutting down five separate pipelines. This is an educational fundraiser to
support his legal defense through the Climate Disobedience Action Fund.


The weather report says it will be cloudy, with a 10 percent chance of
rain. Dave Harmon has an indoor area ready to go if it gets dicey, there's
wood gathered for the fire pit, but the weather looks like it's going to
hold. There are games planned. Kids are welcome. Good local brews and
burgers, lots of fresh salad (some from my son's farm up the Bitterroot.

people taking action to avert the climate crisis.


So c'mon. We'll see you at 3500 Duncan Drive in Missoula, starting at 5
p.m.
