[MCN] Sustainable Farm Law Workshops in Missoula, Feb 24th, 25th

CFAC is excited to announce registration is open for Sustainable Farm Law
Workshops in Missoula, February 24th and 25th. Register today and please share

limited.

*Sustainable Farm Law 101* on February 24th will cover legal aspects of
land lease and purchase, sales contracts, insurance, employment law, food
safety, farm events, & value added production.

*Advanced Farm Law* on February 25th will take an in-depth look at managing
farm risks with insurance and employment law issues. The instructor will
decipher common insurance clauses and language, and participants will share
specific situations they have encountered, and share solutions in a
roundtable discussion. Enrollment in this workshop is limited to
established farmers and those who have completed Farm Law 101.

Sustainable Farm Law workshops aren’t a set of boring lectures filled with
legal lingo. Each workshop is team taught by Farm Commons legal educator
Matt Stannard and experienced farmer co-presenters from Montana.

Workshops will be held at Missoula College in Missoula, MT. Each workshop
costs $40 and includes light breakfast, and lunch. Register for both
