Hey Missoula,

I'm exploring the possibility of renting a shared office space between a
few local like-minded non-profits.  There's a building near downtown with
three floors - each could be occupied by a different organization (or
shared by a couple if only one or two staff).  We'd want to get a few
groups together, consider a rent offer and rental arrangement before
committing.  If your group may be interested, please let me know!  Our org
is Sierra Club, at least the Montana Chapter and possibly a national staff
would join us.

Let me know off list if you are interested in discussing.  Best email for
that discussion is summer.nelson at sierraclub.org

Thanks,
Summer

*ORGANIZATIONAL ASSESSMENT CONSULTANTS REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS *

*INTRODUCTION*

During 2019, the *Missoula Project for Nonprofit Excellence* (MPNE) will
conduct its sixth round of capacity building grant awards, with the
expectation that three Missoula area nonprofits will be funded.  If you
enjoy working side by side with nonprofit boards and staff working towards
strengthening impactful mission-based organizations, then you will enjoy
being involved in the MPNE program. You will be a part of a team of
nonprofit consultants, that perform organizational assessments designed to
enhance the 7 pillars of organizational capacity building:

?      Vision and Planning

?      Program Delivery and Impact

?      Fund Development

?      Financial Management: Budgeting, Accounting and Reporting

?      Human Resources: Staff & Volunteers

?      Governance and Leadership

?      Communication

Through the process you will identify strengths, areas in need of
improvement, and organizational gaps that nonprofits can begin to develop
launching them in a forward moving trajectory.  Organizations that have
participated in the past include The Roxy Theater, Home ReSource, and
EmpowerMT.

The MPNE core funders will award up to three nonprofits a capacity building
grant in 2019.  Consultants will be assigned a fitting nonprofit based on
their familiarity and experience and begin working with them the week of
January 28th, 2019 with the final report due to the Grant Coordinator and
grantee by June 28th, 2019.

In light of these time frames, interested parties should submit their
Letter of Interest and requested attachments by *no later than midnight on
Friday, December 7th, 2018* to Meredith Printz, Executive Director of the
Missoula Community Foundation, by e-mailing Meredith at:
meredith at missoulacommunityfoundation.org .

Before responding to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ), please review
the Organizational Assessment Consultant Scope of Work, plus additional
information about the MPNE capacity building grants program that can be
found at the Missoula Community Foundation website:
www.missoulacommunityfoundation.org.

*APPLICATION PROCESS FOR MPNE ASSESSMENT CONSULTANT NETWORK*

Submit a Letter of Interest by *Midnight, Friday December 7th,2018* with
the attachments listed below. The Letter of Interest should include
responses to the following:

a)    Your contact information, including phone, mailing address and email.

b)    A list of concentration areas for your consulting practice (e.g.
strategic or business planning, board development, fundraising, etc.).

c)    Describe the nonprofit subsectors (arts and culture, social
services, conservation, etc.) in which you have worked, and the extent to
which you have worked in those subsectors; and where you see your primary
market(s) and expertise.

d)    Describe the reasons that you are interested in working with the
MPNE program. What appeals to you about the program? Why are you interested
in participating as an Assessment Consultant in this effort?

e)    MPNE is exploring the possibility that this capacity building
program could provide an opportunity for the MPNE team and the selected
Assessment Consultants to create a ?professional learning community? to
improve consulting practice and provide mutual support. Please discuss your
interest in, and any previous experience with, similar efforts.  How would
you hope to benefit from such a learning community?

f)      Please identify any constraints (such as prior obligations) on your
ability to meet with the MPNE team and to conduct organizational
assessments between February and mid-June, and any accommodations needed to
assure your availability during that timeframe (such as scheduling work
more than 60 days in advance).

*Please include the following as attachments to the emailed Letter of
Interest:*

?      Current resume.

?      Marketing materials ? brochure, promotional handouts, etc. (can be
mailed if needed).

?      Client list ? covering at least the last 3 years of practice.

?      References (at least 3) of current or former clients with contact

with the above list of attachments.

As usual there will be festivities for all ages. Come join us for crafts, treats, games, and just a ton of family fun.
Santa will be here to visit from 1pm-3pm. He'll be taking pictures both in the Museum as well as around the grounds- so be sure to dress warmly if you want that perfect photo with Santa.
