[MCN] Missoula BLM RMP Comment Writing Workshop, Thurs. 7/18, 5:30-7:30pm

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) needs to hear from you about western Montana's wildlands. In May, the BLM Missoula Field Office released their draft resource management plan (RMP) and environmental impact statement (EIS). The public is invited to submit comments about this plan through August 15th.


Tomorrow, Thursday, July 18th, the Montana Wilderness Association is hosting a comment writing workshop. This is an informal gathering. Drop in any time and stay for as long as you like. We'll have materials about the draft plan on hand for you to explore and MWA staff will help answer questions you have about how to submit a comment. You'll be able to prepare and submit a comment at the workshop. We'll also have food and beverage for you to enjoy.


Comments are a critical part of the public process that influences the fate of wild places, and it's important that we tell the BLM why protecting these unique wildlands is so important.
