Greetings Missoula Community Listserv!

I recently sent an email about the launch of the ZERO by FIFTY Community Series. I have a quick correction to make regarding the dates of the April and May events. These events will take place on April 25th and May 23rd. The corrected message can be viewed below.

Thanks! Apologies for the confusion.

Home ReSource, Climate Smart Missoula, and Zero Waste Missoula are excited to invite you to the launch of the ZERO by FIFTY Community Series<https://www.facebook.com/events/260910318165696/> on Thursday, March 21.

The mission of the ZERO by FIFTY Community Series is to spark conversation about opportunities for waste reduction and prevention and inform the community about current innovative efforts to address wasted materials in Missoula.

The first event in the series will focus on glass, featuring a panel of local experts working to reduce the amount of glass sent to the Missoula Landfill and promote local reuse and recycling options. Special guests include Back to the Mother Kombucha, Missoula Urban Demonstration Project, Nourishing Cultures, and Recycling Works, all of whom will share exciting details about their glass reduction, reuse, and/or recycling programs and inform attendees on how Missoulians can get involved and support these programs and efforts.

Please join us on Thursday, March 21 from 5-6pm in the Home ReSource Community Room to participate in the discussion, then join us afterward at Bayern Brewing for a tour of Bayern’s glass bottle washer from 6:15-7pm.
