published Monday by Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on
Biodiversity and Ecosystems Services (IPBES) found that "around 1 million
species already face extinction, many within decades, unless action is
taken to reduce the intensity of drivers of biodiversity loss." The report
is sad and sobering, to say the least.

What’s even more disturbing is that in the face of this wildlife extinction
warning, the Trump Administration is preparing to finalize rules that
would *drastically
weaken the Endangered Species Act*, and with it our ability to protect
imperiled wildlife and habitat. We expect to see the Trump Extinction Plan
any day now, and we are preparing to fight it!
