Dear Footloose friends,

M-44’s are yet another violent tool used to kill predator species. Used by Wildlife Services and by ranchers to kill predators, the M-44 is deadly. Sadly, it has killed many family dogs and even injured people. The M-44 is spring-activated sodium cyanide injectors that deliver a deadly dose of poison when an innocent animal pulls up on it. The top of the injector is coated in an attractant that draws wildlife to it. When pulled by the animal a blast of poison shoots out over five feet, the animal can die in minutes or wither in pain over a much longer period of time.

Footloose is fighting for your safety and the safety of your pets. These “landmines” on our public lands in Montana, must be removed forever. We have begun our campaign and will be keeping you involved in the weeks and months ahead.
