Join the Missoula Urban Demonstration (MUD) Project for two upcoming
workshops! On Saturday, June 20, Soil Cycle will be covering the basics of
composting in a VIRTUAL Backyard Composting workshop. Tune in to learn all
about what composting system is best for you, how to get started, and how
to manage your compost for the best possible soil. Already have a compost
system? Bring your questions for help troubleshooting any issues during Q &
A. This workshop will be held online and an event link will be sent to
attendees in advance.

On Saturday, June 27, join MUD and the National Wildlife Federation for an
in-person “Gardening in Bee Country” workshop. The first half of this
workshop will be all about creating pollinator-friendly garden spaces at
home. Participants will learn about what bees need to survive, native
plants that support pollinators, and help plant new native plants at MUD.
During the second half of the workshop, participants will build their own
native bee house to take home. Attendance will be limited to 10 and social
distancing will be practiced throughout the workshop.
