[MCN] Volunteers and Submissions Needed for the Fair's Creative Reuse Division!

Greetings Missoulians!

Home ReSource is looking for volunteers and submissions for the Creative
Reuse Division at the Western Montana Fair. Creative reuse, also known as
“upcycling” or “repurposing,” is the act of applying creativity and
innovation to bring new life or new function to existing materials. Whether
transforming an old piano into a coffee table, stringing upcycled paper
beads into a necklace, or reimagining scrap materials into a sculpture,
repurposing is an exciting and crafty way to keep stuff out of the
landfill. What can you create by choosing to reuse? Creative Reuse spans
five divisions and seven classes.

Submissions will be in person on Thursday, July 30th, and fair staff will
hold onto all of these until the scheduled pick-up date (TBD). Professional
photographs and videos will be made of submissions and winning submissions
will still receive ribbons, awards, and recognition. *The Creative Reuse
Division will be accepting submissions by appointment on July 30th from
8am-1pm at the fairgrounds*. At 1pm, judges will review the pieces and
determine the winners.
