Hope you're doing well in these crazy times. Even with all these changes,
we here at Turning the Wheel continue to adapt in order to bring art and
health to students!

EVERY BODY DANCES

LOCAL NON-PROFITS COLLABORATE TO BRING ART TO STUDENTS

WHAT: Turning the Wheel Missoula and the Flagship Program collaborate to
bring art and dance to local students

WHEN: 10/22, 10/29, 11/5, 11/11 11/19, 12/3, 12/10

WHERE: CS Porter Middle School, Meadow Hill Middle School & Washington
Middle School, Missoula, MT

No matter who you are, you have a body and you can use it to connect,
express and create! Facilitators from non-profit Turning the Wheel will be
exploring rhythm, song, dance and theater improv, and in class performance
with students in Flagship after school programs! They will have fun while
learning social emotional life skills like collaboration, leadership,
resilience building and spontaneous and creative problem solving. The
program begins

Turning the Wheel Missoula operates around a pedagogy of teaching,
developed over 20 years of working in the schools, that stems from the
knowledge that the body is the primary mechanism for social change,
learning and physical and emotional well being. Because play and movement
are core components of TTWM’s programming, results are swift and lasting
and affect the whole person (physical, mental and emotional).



Turning the Wheel Missoula is a non-profit organization dedicated to
fostering the social, emotional and physical health for all through
movement and creative expression.
