*Job Summary: *The Marketing Coordinator works in the Admissions department
to coordinate and implement EPI’s marketing strategy for its suite of
field-based educational programs. This position is responsible for
executing multi-channel marketing campaigns for EPI’s student group travel
programs, individual student programs, and professional development
programs, including the EPI Teacher Fellowship. The Marketing Coordinator
is also empowered to identify new and creative ways to engage co-workers to
cultivate an environment true to our core values: making a positive
difference in the world; bringing integrity, honesty, and excellence to all
aspects of our work; appreciating the outdoors for education, inspiration
and enjoyment; and having fun and thinking big!
*Required qualifications:*
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 Years of marketing or sales experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong
understanding of audience and messaging strategy
- Experience with marketing platforms such as Facebook Ads, Google Ads,
Mailchimp
- Experience with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce
- Enthusiasm for teamwork and experience managing projects across
multiple teams
- Good humor, positive attitude, and collaborative spirit
- Ability to work independently
- Commitment to the mission and goals of EPI
*Preferred qualifications:*
- Degree in marketing, sales, business, or communications
- Experience or familiarity with science education, experiential
education and/or inquiry-based learning
- Spanish language experience and/or experience living and working in
Latin America, especially Mexico, Belize, Costa Rica and/or Ecuador;
- Experience with collaborative project management programs like Asana
- Experience or familiarity with marketing automation tools
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- The ideal candidate will be confident, well-spoken, creative, and
persistent
*Schedule & Location: *The Marketing Coordinator position is full-time (40
hours/week) with office hours typically from 9am to 5pm. This position is
based in EPI’s Missoula office with occasional travel for conferences and
to our field sites for the Teacher Fellowship. The Marketing Coordinator
reports to the Admissions Director.
*Compensation: *Salary depends on experience, excellent benefits package
that includes paid time off, sick leave, holidays, health insurance,
professional development, and other benefits as detailed in EPI’s Employee
Handbook.
