Ecology Project International <http://www.epiyellowstone.org/>'s Yellowstone
Program is looking for passionate environmental educators and outdoor
leaders to join our field instructor teams!

*Field instructors* teach ecology and science lessons to middle and high
school students, guide students in accurately collecting data for research
projects, lead students in leadership activities/games, manage student
safety in a dynamic field setting, transport participants, maintain EPI
field equipment, and support assistant instructors in their development as
environmental educators.

*Assistant Instructors* guide students in the preparation of all meals in
the field, maintain EPI field equipment, transport students, lead students
in leadership activities/games, and support field instructors in conducting
all courses. Throughout the season, assistant instructors will have
opportunities to practice and grow in their confidence and ability to teach
relevant science and ecology lessons and manage student group dynamics and
safety in a field setting. Upon successful completion of a winter season,
assistant instructors will be considered for a position as a field
instructor for EPI Yellowstone's summer wildlife ecology programs
(May-August 2022).

Because of the diversity of Yellowstone participants and EPI staff, all
instructors and assistant instructors should have the skills to address
bias in their work and be culturally responsive in interactions with
students and co-workers. Field staff are encouraged to identify ways in
which we can enhance inclusivity in planning and implementing our programs.

*The priority application deadline is Sunday 10/10, with interviews
scheduled on a rolling basis, so apply today! *

About EPI:

EPI is an international non-profit organization dedicated to
addressing critical
conservation issues through field-based partnerships between local experts
and high school students. We engage adolescent youth from local communities
and visiting youth from other regions in applied conservation hands-on
science and conservation as they learn about and help protect threatened
species and habitats. Through EPI?s programs in five countries throughout
the U.S. and Latin America, teens are inspired and empowered to engage in
conservation efforts at home and worldwide to become the next generation of
conservation leaders. More information can be found at
