A couple of Boz Angeles nonprofits are spearheading a citizen initiative to permanently protect sections of the Madison and Gallatin rivers from water pollution. I-191 will prohibit the Montana DEQ from issuing permits to degrade the rivers and their tributaries. When passed, Big Sky will not be able to pollute tributaries of the Gallatin. 

We need more than 30,000 signatures by June 17th to get I-191 on the November ballot. We’re collecting signatures electronically until the Montana Supreme Court tells us we cannot.
