Garden City Harvest plants seeds and grows together to create a healthy
Missoula. We have positions open for a DEVELOPMENT MANAGER and YOUTH
HARVEST PROJECT CREW MEMBERS. Please do share widely!

YOUTH HARVEST POSITIONS WITH GARDEN CITY HARVEST

We’re looking for teens aged 15 - 18 who might just be starting in the
workforce, eager to gain skills (farming, business, customer service, food
prep, and more) and be part of a community of university students, local
farmers, educators, and volunteers at the PEAS Farm in Missoula. Garden
City Harvest’s Youth Harvest Project brings together youth from all walks
of life to make a difference in the lives of people in Missoula. Through
our farm-based work program, crew members work together as a team to serve
others, learn sustainable farming and business skills, challenge
themselves, get dirty, and have fun! Through this work, Youth Harvest teens
focus on personal development, build vocational skills, and create a sense
of community and belonging.

Youth Harvest participants spend their days both working on the farm
(weeding, watering, harvesting, washing, planting) as well as engaging in
weekly lessons on sustainable agriculture, food security, and health. They
will help run a mobile market: a vegetable stand Youth Harvest sets up for
seniors at senior living facilities around town.

*Youth Harvest Project is looking for:*

   - Missoula area youth, ages 15-18, seeking early work-experience.
   - Individuals who show commitment to the mission of Garden City Harvest,
   will work hard, and have a desire to step into challenges.
   - Youth willing to be reflective of their own life experiences and who
   are open to those of others.

DEVELOPMENT MANAGER WITH GARDEN CITY HARVEST

Work with a tight knit team building support and stamina for Garden City
Harvest’s work planting seeds together to create a healthy Missoula through
our 21 neighborhood farms and community and school gardens. Daily work can
range from tending the database to working directly with donors; from
organizing the annual giving campaigns to cultivating a small event.
